Two winners of the 70th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival represent the Hong Kong Schools Music and Speech Association in the ‘Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod’ in Wales, England, come home in triumph.
The seventeen-year-old Ho Wai Lok Maximillion ranked 2nd in the ‘Open Folk Solo (Instrumental)’ category playing Chinese composer Huang He’s Painting about Tianshan Mountain on 5 July 2018. Maximillion is currently a student of La Salle College, and was also the recipient of the ‘RTHK Radio 4 Chinese Instruments Scholarship’ of 70th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival.
On the same day, Ngan Hoi Ming participated in the category of ‘Young International Musician’ and gained wonderful experience in the ‘Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod’. Hoi Ming is a student of Chinese University of Hong Kong and was the winner of ‘Piano Solo – Gold Medal Award’ in the 70th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival.
